Ashley Fogg, who ran for School Committee as an independent in the last two elections but did not win a seat, wants to see changes from the Hopkinton Democratic Town Committee following the online controversy over former chair Darlene Hayes.
Hopkinton High School student Amisi Anjeh said she watched herself transform from “the timid girl who can’t speak up and over-apologizes” last year to a graduating senior “who knows the power of the word ‘no.’ ” Anjeh attributes that personal growth to her participation in the Rape Aggression Defense system (RAD) program, an elective wellness course offered for HHS junior and senior girls.
At its meeting Monday night, the Parks & Recreation Commission welcomed interim director Pat Savage, noting that the department has been in some disarray due to recent staff and committee departures.
