The Permanent Building Committee reviewed two mixed-use development proposals for the Center School site at its meeting Monday night.
Monday night’s Zoning Advisory Committee meeting primarily focused on a renewed attempt to seek rezoning for a South Street building that would house the Marguerite Construction corporate headquarters, raising ire in some Lake Maspenock residents.
Hopkinton Public Schools spring concerts start this week, as the Hopkinton High School orchestra, chorus and bands will perform Thursday at 7 p.m. in the HHS auditorium. The community is welcome to attend, free of charge. Middle school concerts are next week.

The Friends of Whitehall annual meeting will be held Wednesday, April 3, at 7 p.m. at the Sanctuary at Woodville. The guest speaker will be Marc Bellaud from SOLitude Lake Management. He will speak about weeds in the lake, lake ecology, and successful treatments of other lakes in the area.
Town meetings tonight include the Marathon Committee (7) and Trails Committee (7:30).
