by | Mar 27, 2024 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

Elementary school students returning home from school on the afternoon of March 20 reportedly were not injured after being involved in a school bus accident, according to the police report and confirmation from the school superintendent received Tuesday.

Parks & Recreation Director Jon Lewitus said the youth spring tennis program cannot run safely at Reed Park courts because of conditions there.

This week’s Move In Style Athlete Spotlight shines on skier Lucie Mato, who was team MVP and ranked ninth in the league as a freshman.

The Tri-Valley League recently announced its winter season All-Stars, and Hopkinton High School was well-represented.

The Hopkinton Trails Committee and the Hopkinton Trails Club have created a monthly trail volunteer day on the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m.-noon. The next workday is April 6, and it’s the annual Center Trail cleanup.

Town meetings tonight include the Appropriation Committee (5), Board of Appeals (7) and Elementary School Building Committee public forum (7).
