HPS to add Seal of Biliteracy

by | Apr 3, 2019 | Education

Hopkinton Public Schools announced last month it will participate in the Massachusetts Seal of Biliteracy program. Graduating seniors who meet the requirement of the program will earn a Mass. Seal of Biliteracy or the Mass. Seal of Biliteracy With Distinction, affixed to the student’s transcript and diploma. The Seal of Biliteracy, a nationally recognized award, demonstrates achievement of distinguished proficiency in English and an additional language.

HPS also is looking for community members to serve on the Seal of Biliteracy Committee.

For more information, contact Jill Kimball (jkimball@hopkinton.k12.ma.us) or Marilyn Miracle (mmiracle@hopkinton.k12.ma.us).
