The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced that the Interstate 495 southbound on-ramp from Interstate 90 will be closed overnight this Thursday.

The closure will begin at 11 p.m. MassDOT anticipates work to be completed by 5 a.m. Friday morning.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured up to Route 9 westbound (Exit 59B) to reverse direction back to I-495 southbound.

Appropriate signage and law enforcement details will be in place. Drivers should anticipate delays and exercise caution while traveling through work zones.
