Individual in HHS community tests positive for COVID-19 but school still on

by | Nov 24, 2020 | Education, Z-Lead Image Front Page

As Hopkinton High School heads into the Thanksgiving break, principal Evan Bishop emailed families to inform them that a person in the HHS community has tested positive for COVID-19.

“The Hopkinton Public Schools are working closely with the Community Tracing Collaborative (CTC) and Hopkinton Board of Health to ensure the health and safety of all,” the email reads. “We are in communication with affected families. If you have not heard from either the CTC or the Board of Health, you should plan to participate in school on Wednesday as you typically would. A plan is in place to move forward with the education of all students.”

All Hopkinton schools are going fully remote for one week after Thanksgiving break in an effort to minimize potential spread of the virus.
