John McKay, 88, formerly of Hopkinton, died Oct. 24 in Hollywood, Florida. Born in Boston on Jan. 17, 1934, he was the son of the late William and Sybil McKay.
John worked for many years as a chemist. He had a deep love for traveling and the arts.
He is survived by his special caregivers, Robert and Elizabeth Arena of Hollywood, Florida. He is predeceased by his longtime partner, Eugene Guerrrini.
Calling Hours will be held Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 8:45-10:15 a.m. at the Callanan Cronin Funeral Home, 34 Church Street. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Parish. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Ashland.
