Library to close Tuesday, Wednesday for re-carpeting

by | Nov 14, 2025 | News

The Hopkinton Public Library will be closed for a portion of next week as it completes updates to the interior of the building.

In a notice to residents, HPL director Nanci Hill stated that the library is scheduled to close Tuesday and Wednesday so that the main floor of the library can be re-carpeted.

“We sincerely apologize for any problems this may cause,” Hill stated. She noted that library staff will be available to assist residents through Monday.

The library will reopen on Thursday once all carpeting work is complete.
