Lumber Street paving starts Monday

The town’s Department of Public Works announced Thursday that asphalt paving work is scheduled for Lumber Street from the intersection of Granite Street to the Milford town line from Monday through Wednesday of next week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The road will be closed and detours will be in place.

Dates are subject to change due to weather conditions.

Drivers are advised to expect delays, seek alternate routes when possible and follow the detours where posted.
