Main Street Corridor Project: Detours possible this week

by | May 1, 2022 | News

In its weekly Main Street Corridor Project update, the town noted that there might be detours or one-way traffic on Main Street this week.

Work is expected to include saw cuts for vaults and duct banks as well as the installation of electric, Comcast and telephone manholes, all occurring east of the Route 135/Route 85 intersection.

Additionally, a second crew will be onsite west of the 135/85 intersection to begin installation of utility conduit for service to property lines. That work will take place near the Police Station and CVS. There also will be conduit work for the Wood Street traffic signals.

For more updates, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.
