Main Street Corridor Project update: Comcast, AT&T on track to complete utility work mid-July

by | Jun 27, 2025 | Featured: News, News

The town’s latest Main Street Corridor Project update released Friday shared that both Comcast and AT&T are continuing utility work, and are expected to be finished by mid-July.

Verizon was on-site Monday to focus on transferring lines to the new poles on the west side of the project. This work is in preparation for pole removal on the west end, and no schedule for completion of work has been provided yet.

A.F. Amorello & Sons is anticipated to mobilize fully once the utility work is complete. Scheduling of that work is forthcoming. According to the update from the town, work on the east side of the project may be scheduled for July or August.

Finally, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation is reviewing additional landscaping changes to the project. Comments will be sent to the town and Amorello upon completion.

Weather and other existing conditions may change the projected work schedule. For the most up-to-date information, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.
