Main Street Corridor Project update: Eastbound detour at Pleasant Street in place all week

by | Dec 4, 2022 | News

As part of the Main Street Corridor Project this week, the eastbound detour from Pleasant Street to Maple Street to Hayden Rowe Street and back to Main Street will be in place Monday through Friday. The eastbound detour from Grove Street to Maple Street to Hayden Rowe Street and back to Main Street will be used on an as-needed basis.

On the west side of the project, between Wood Street and the Fire Station, the contractor will continue winterizing — paving any unfinished driveways and continue placing brick/granite walkways.

On the east side of the project, workers will continue underground service connections between Muffin House Cafe and Church Street.

Project-wide, the contractor will perform electric manhole work.

Working hours for the Main Street Corridor Project are 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. No detours, one-lane closures or road closures are allowed from 7-9 a.m.

This schedule may change due to weather and existing conditions found while performing the planned tasks. For the most up-to-date information, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.
