To accommodate electrical work as part of the Main Street Corridor Project, the town is implementing an eastbound detour on Main Street this Friday, starting at 9 a.m.

Electrical work is scheduled near 77 Main Street from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. A detour is necessary to allow the work to be completed. The eastbound detour will go up Pleasant Street, on to Maple Street and then to Grove Street. Police officers will be on-site to direct traffic.

Weather and other existing conditions may change the projected work schedule. For the most up-to-date information, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.
