Main Street Corridor Project update: Eastbound detours again in place

by | Nov 27, 2022 | News

As part of the Main Street Corridor Project this week, the eastbound detour from Pleasant Street to Maple Street to Hayden Rowe Street and back to Main Street will be in place Monday through Friday. The eastbound detour from Grove Street to Maple Street to Hayden Rowe Street and back to Main Street also will be used Monday through Friday.

On the west side of the project, the contractor will begin paving the bike lane and perform temporary sidewalk work toward the end of the week in front of 4 West Main Street, which could require use of the Wood Street detour.

On the east side of the project, the contractor will continue underground service connections between Muffin House and Church Street.

Project-wide, workers will continue winterizing (asphalt for driveways, sidewalks and wheelchair ramps).

Working hours for the Main Street Corridor Project are 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. No detours, one-lane closures or road closures are allowed from 7-9 a.m.

This schedule may change due to weather and existing conditions found while performing the planned tasks. For the most up-to-date information, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.
