Main Street Corridor Project update: No work this week until Thursday

by | Jul 2, 2023 | Business, News

As part of the Main Street Corridor Project this week, there will be no work on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, as Hopkinton Town Hall and municipal offices are closed in observance of Independence Day.

On the east side of the project, crews will continue installation of conduit and bases for site lighting from Muffin House Cafe to Ash Street (work will take place in the excavated sidewalk area). Crews also will work on installation of the granite curb and grading and pouring of concrete sidewalks in the same area.

On the west side of the project, workers will grade and pour concrete sidewalks.

Working hours for the Main Street Corridor Project are 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. No detours, one-lane closures or road closures are allowed from 7-9 a.m.

This schedule may change due to weather and existing conditions found while performing the planned tasks. For the most up-to-date information, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.
