Main Street Corridor Project update: Trench, test pit planned

by | Jun 12, 2026 | Featured: News, News

Several tasks related to the Main Street Corridor Project have been scheduled for the coming week, according to the latest project update.

Workers will be digging a test pit at the manhole in the driveway of Hillers Cleaners on Monday. Access may be limited. The town advises against parking behind the building while the work is completed.

During the week, crews also will dig a trench across Marathon Way to install irrigation conduit and complete driveway work at 25/35 Main Street. The driveway by the Muffin House will be closed, and there will be alternating traffic in and out via the east side driveway.

Weather and other existing conditions may change the projected work schedule. Detours or alternating traffic will be used as needed for project work. For the most up-to-date information, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.
