Main Street Corridor Project update: Walkway work continues, paving set for Tuesday

by | Nov 1, 2024 | News

The latest Main Street Corridor Project update released by the town on Friday noted that walkway work at 35 and 77 Main Street would be finalized on Monday and Tuesday.

Additionally, crews from A.F. Amorello & Sons will be paving at Hopkinton Gas on Tuesday.

The town continues awaiting the schedule from Eversource to begin overhead to underground services. It is also waiting on a schedule from Verizon to complete overhead utility transfers on the west side of the project.

This schedule may change due to weather and existing conditions found while performing these tasks. This work may impact traffic and require lane and sidewalk closures, limiting access to driveways and entrances to businesses. Detours and alternating traffic patterns may be used as necessary.

More information on the project, including updates, a project overview, photos and video can be found on the Main Street Corridor Project website.
