Main Street Corridor Project update: Eastbound detours resume this week

by | Oct 30, 2022 | News

As part of the Main Street Corridor Project this week, the eastbound detour from Grove Street to Maple Street to Hayden Rowe Street and back to Main Street will be in place from Monday through Friday. Additionally, the eastbound detour from Pleasant Street to Maple Street to Hayden Rowe Street and back to Main Street will be used as needed.

On the east side of the project, workers will continue the service connections from Muffin House toward Ash Street.

On the west side of the project, the contractor will focus on curb work between Wood Street and the Fire Station beginning Tuesday or Wednesday.

Working hours for the Main Street Corridor Project are 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. No detours, one-lane closures or road closures are allowed from 7-9 a.m.

This schedule may change due to weather and existing conditions found while performing the planned tasks. For the most up-to-date information, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.
