Main Street water main again to be shut off Wednesday morning for construction work

by | Jul 26, 2021 | News

For the second straight Wednesday, the water main on Main Street will be shut down due to work related to the Main Street Corridor Project.

The affected water main lies on Main Street between Pleasant Street and Wood Street and includes Commonwealth Avenue.

The work will start at approximately 8:30 a.m. and the water will remain off for several hours. After the water is back on, residents may notice some air or discoloration and might need to flush the cold water line.
