MassDOT plans additional ramp closures at I-90/I-495 interchange through next week

by | Jul 24, 2026 | News

According to a recent update from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, ramps at the Interstate 90/Interstate 495 interchange in Hopkinton will close next week for construction operations.

The I-90 eastbound ramp to I-495 northbound (Exit 106) will be closed starting Monday and continuing through Friday. Likewise, the I-495 northbound ramp to I-90 eastbound and westbound (Exit 58) will close Tuesday and Wednesday.

During overnight closures on the I-90 eastbound ramp (Exit 106), drivers will be directed to take I-495 southbound to West Main Street (Exit 54A) in order to reverse direction northbound.

When the I-495 northbound ramp to I-90 (Exit 58) is closed, traffic will detour up to Route 9 westbound (Exit 59B) to reverse direction onto I-495 southbound to access I-90.

Appropriate signage and law enforcement details will be in place. Drivers should anticipate delays and exercise caution while traveling through work zones.

For more information on traffic conditions, drivers can visit the Mass511 website, which features travel times and real-time traffic.
