Multi-vehicle crash ties up traffic on Main Street

by | Jun 3, 2024 |

A three-vehicle collision on Main Street near Pleasant Street on Monday afternoon tied up traffic, prompting the Hopkinton Police Department at approximately 2:30 p.m. to urge motorists to avoid the area via a post on the HPD Facebook page.

“A landscape truck was making a left out of Mount Auburn Street onto Main Street,” according to HPD Lieutenant Scott van Raalten. “A vehicle traveling east on Main Street struck the truck and then struck another vehicle heading westbound on Main Street.”

Added van Raalten: “The operator that struck the landscape truck had minor injuries but refused transport to the hospital.”
