Pamela Bogigian

Pamela Kay Bogigian, 72, of Hopkinton passed away at her home Dec. 20. Born in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of Kathleen (King) Mansfield MacLennan of Hopkinton and the late C. Richard Mansfield. She was the wife of 49 years to Vascen J. Bogigian of Hopkinton.

Pam graduated from Framingham State with a bachelor’s degree, and earned her master’s degrees from Kent State in Ohio and Lesley University in Cambridge. She was a kindergarten teacher in Milford for over 30 years. Children were her passion and she loved checking in on them later in life. Pam was an excellent chef and always was experimenting with something new in the kitchen. She was an avid quilter and took pleasure in Vintage Quilters at the Hopkinton Senior Center with her mother and friends. She enjoyed shopping, antiquing and exploring boutiques. Most importantly, she loved time spent with her family.

In addition to her husband, Pam is survived by her brother, Richard L. Mansfield and wife Mary Lou of North Eastham, her brother-in-law, John Bogigian and wife Joyce of Holliston, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 26, from 3-6 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe Street. A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, Dec. 27, at 10 a.m. at Armenian Church of Holy Translators in Framingham. Interment will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Armenian Church of Holy Translators, 38 Franklin Street, Framingham, MA 01702 or Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation 14 Prospect Street, Milford, MA 01757 or foundation.milfordregional.org/donate/online.
