Paul Sullivan

Paul Edmond Sullivan Jr., 85, of Northboro and formerly of Hopkinton, passed away on Sept. 20, 2026. Born in Springfield, he was the son of the late Ruth (Moran) and Paul Edmond Sullivan Sr. He was the husband of 44 years to Carolyn E. Heath.

Paul was an Army Air Corps veteran, having served in the 82nd Airborne. He loved to fly and spent many years traveling to different places in his plane. He especially enjoyed flying to the Bahamas and island hopping, as well as trips to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and many other destinations. Nantucket was always a special place for Paul. He was married there in 1982, and he and Carolyn flew back many times over the years.

Paul was a longtime member of AA and helped many people throughout the years. He also served on the Keefe Tech School Board in Framingham for several years.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by his son, Paul Edmond Sullivan III and wife Margaret of Upton; his grandchildren, Patrick Sullivan and partner Samantha, and Shawn Sullivan and partner Kelly; and his great-granddaughter, Alexa Sullivan and partner Jose.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 2, at 4 p.m. at Faith Community Church in Hopkinton. Feel free to arrive a bit early to see pictures. A reception will follow. Private burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton.
