The Independent staff will select one winner for each issue. The winner will have their submitted photo published in the paper and will receive a $25 gift certificate to Bill’s Pizzeria.

This issue’s winner is Elyssa Granoff and Tyler DeWolfe for this photo of their vizsla, Whiskey (left), fetching a toy in Lake Maspenock with their neighbors’ American water spaniel, Murf. States Granoff: “This is a nightly routine for the two pups who have been best friends since they both came home in January.” To enter next issue’s contest, email your photo along with your name, phone number and description of the photo to Editor@hopkintonindependent.com.
