Phyllis Bullard

Phyllis A. Bullard, 98, of Sutton, formerly of Hopkinton and Framingham, passed away April 23, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. She was the wife of the late George M. Bullard.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Anne (Atchison) MacFarland. She was educated in Framingham and was a graduate of Framingham High School.

Phyllis was employed as an admitting clerk at Framingham Union Hospital — later MetroWest Medical Center — for many years, retiring at the age of 86. She also was a former member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Framingham.

She is survived by three children, Peggy Yankee and husband Deane of Westborough, Karen Nixon of Sutton and Paul Bullard of Claremont, New Hampshire, along with two grandchildren, Kim Yankee and Sara Bullard.

She was predeceased by her sister, Barbara Musgrave.

Her funeral service will be Thursday, May 1, at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 3 John Street, Westborough. Burial will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Hopkinton. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to MetroWest Humane Society.
