by | Aug 22, 2024 | Featured: News, News, Police & Fire

An individual who apparently had a medical issue was retrieved from Lake Whitehall on Thursday.

Boats could be seen searching the water around 5 p.m., focused on an area near an island. Police, fire and rescue crews then showed up to assist.

WCVB TV reported crews were seen removing “what appeared to be a body from the water.” The individual was given CPR and transported to an area hospital, according to an individual at the scene.

Town police and fire officials informed the Independent that they were working on a press release that would have further information.
