Road paving projects scheduled over next few days

The town’s Department of Public Works announced that asphalt paving is scheduled over the next few days. The work will be done from approximately 7 a.m.-5 p.m. and is subject to weather conditions.

Drivers should expect delays and detours and are encouraged to seek alternate routes.

Saturday, Aug. 28
School Street — from West Main Street to the Upton line (detours will be in place)
School Street — from West Main Street to West Elm Street (detours will be in place)
West Main Street — from Oakhurst Road to School Street

Monday, Aug. 30
Edge Hill Road — detour using Stoney Brook Road
Stoney Brook Road — Saddle Hill Road to Wedgewood Drive detour using Edge Hill Road

Tuesday, Aug. 31
Legacy Farms Road South — Cedar Street to Wilson Street
Cunningham Street — detour using Fruit Street to Wood Street
