Ronald Babbitt, 75

Ronald G. Babbitt, 75, of Milford died Dec. 26 at the Blue Hill Alzheimer’s Care Center in Stoughton after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of Ellen Marie (Gulec) Babbitt.

Ronald was born in Milford, the son of the late Alvin Arnold and the late Dorothy Babbitt. He attended public schools in Hopkinton and had been a resident of Milford for most of his life.

Ronald was first employed as a young man at Benzenoid Organics Inc. located in Bellingham. He then worked at the former Porter Shoe Company, the former Archer Rubber Company and the former Foster Forbes Company, all located in Milford. Lastly, he was employed as an automotive mechanic for many years.

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife, Ellen, as well as his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and sister.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside committal services on Friday, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery in Milford. There are no visiting hours.
