Rose Crettien

Rose Crettien, 74, of Hopkinton died Aug. 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a decade-long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born Oct. 6, 1949, in Winthrop. She was the daughter of the late Frances Kanegis and Irving Steinberg.

She also is survived by sister Lynda “Marla” Miller and brother-in-law Andy Miller of Framingham.

Rose was a passionate and talented educator, cook and gardener with profound respect for all living things. She had a quick wit and ridiculous sense of humor. She is infinitely loved.

Public services will be held Saturday, Sept. 7, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe Street.
