Schools Notebook: Local collegians thrive

The University of Massachusetts recently announced its dean’s list for the spring semester, and it includes a number of Hopkinton residents. The University of New Hampshire’s spring dean’s list included 15 Hopkinton residents. Lia Brossi, Peter Mitchell, Eliza Westbury and Samuel Lozeau were recognized with highest honors, Alexandra Lee, Anthony Zeissig, Isabella Houley, Ivy Gogolin and Galen Graham earned high honors, while Adara Groman, Philip Restifo, Brendan Cross, Cole Stukel, Olivia O’Connor and Mollie Mahoney received honors. …

At Emmanuel College’s 100th commencement exercises, Megan Canfield received a Bachelor of Arts in a double major of international studies with a concentration in sustainability and global justice as well as sociology with a concentration in social justice and inequality. She graduated cum laude and with distinction in her field of study. …
