Thomas ‘Roy’ Robson

Thomas “Roy” Robson, 90, of Hopkinton, passed away Dec. 5. Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Georgia (Lord) and Thomas P. Robson. He was the husband of Marcia J. (Russell) Robson of Hopkinton.

Roy was the co-owner of Robson Cunningham Building for 50 years, having built many homes in Hopkinton. He enjoyed camping and woodworking

Besides his wife, Roy is survived by four children, Paula Robson of Southborough, Donna McRobert and her husband, Phil Pogey, Pamela Dailey and her husband, Ed, and James Robson, all of Hopkinton. He also leaves behind his sister, Elizabeth Palmer of Hopkinton, as well as nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by two sisters, Irene Sciretta and Evelyn Stone.

Funeral services were held privately with family and are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hopkinton Fire & EMT, 73 Main St., Hopkinton, MA 01748 or to the Hopkinton Police Department, 74 Main St., Hopkinton, MA 01748.
