by | Nov 21, 2022 | News

The town announced that there will be comprehensive fiscal year 2024 budget listening sessions on Dec. 5 and Dec. 8.

The Dec. 5 session, titled “Seniors Speak,” will be held at the Senior Center (28 Mayhew Street) from noon-1 p.m.

The Dec. 8 session, called “Business Community Voices,” is scheduled for the HCAM studios (77 Main Street) from 8-9 a.m.

According to a press release, town staff will outline the FY24 budget process and share preliminary information on budget sources/uses, proposed FY24 capital projects and the five-year capital plan. Staff then will listen to feedback and answer questions about those topics.

“Your collective input and feedback are vital to aligning the town’s expenditures with the community’s needs while strengthening the town’s short-term and medium-term economic viability,” the release reads.

Budget information is available at the town’s website. Video of all listening sessions will be available there as well.
