Town clerk Connor Degan recently announced that, following a vote at the Aug. 4 Board of Registrars meeting, early in-person voting for the Sept. 1 primaries will be held at the Senior Center. It’s normally held at Town Hall.

On Friday he released more information, including the schedule. Hours are: Aug. 22-23 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Aug. 24 from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Aug. 25 from 8 a.m.-7 p.m.; Aug. 26-27 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; and Aug. 28 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

This is offered in addition to mail-in early voting and in-person voting at the polls on the day of the primary.

Degan added that the situation would be reviewed again prior to the November election.

There is no published information on how mail in voting is to take place. Dates to expect ballot in the mail by residents who requested. No due dates when it needs to be put in drop box at town gall, or receipt via USPS. This should be published for Sept and Nov.. Also, if someone can drop the Ballot mail-in off at the day of voting at the voting location.
