Town Clerk’s office holds voter registration drive at library

To celebrate National Register to Vote Day, the Town Clerk’s office is hosting a voter registration drive at the Hopkinton Public Library on Tuesday (Sept. 17).

The drive runs from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m in the library lobby. Those interested in registering to vote must be:

  • A U.S. citizen
  • A resident of Massachusetts
  • 18 years of age or older

The event will provide opportunities for people ages 16 and 17 to pre-register as well.

The deadline to register to vote in Massachusetts ahead of November’s general election is Saturday, Oct. 26. The Town Clerk’s office will be open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. that day.

Voters can check their registration status on the Secretary of State’s website. Residents with questions about voting can contact the Town Clerk’s office by phone at 508-497-9710 or email townclerk@hopkintonma.gov.
