TVL awards announced: HHS QB Salyards shares top offensive honors

The Tri-Valley League recently handed out awards for the Fall 2 season, and a number of Hopkinton High School athletes were recognized.

For the football team, quarterback Cole Salyards was named co-Offensive Player of the Year, while Brian Keefe, Cam Mulvaney, Jake Sokol and Hayes Pearson-Woodruff earned All-Star honors.

For the swimming and diving teams, Tess Weatherhead was named Diver of the Year, while All-Star recognition went to Mia Carboni, Alyssa Fischer, Julianna Lucas, Sofia Luce, Olivia Scalora, Aditya Dutta, Tyler Fallon, Kevin Gu, Shawn Haley, Tyler Holbrow and Davis Peishoff.

Sam Berenson, Cathryn Leighton and Kate Powers were named volleyball All-Stars.
