HHS set to resume in-person learning Monday

by | Jan 24, 2021 | Education, Featured: Education

Following a week-plus of remote-only learning due to a rise in COVID-19 cases and the ensuing contact tracing, Hopkinton High School will return to in-person learning Monday, principal Evan Bishop announced.

In an email to HHS families Sunday, Bishop thanked the students for their efforts and the families for their “continued flexibility as we transitioned to full remote.”

“We acknowledge full days on Zoom are challenging, tiring and very different from being in-person,” Bishop wrote. “But from all accounts, and what I was able to observe, the students and staff did an amazing job.”

Bishop added that although live school is returning, students and families should remain cautious.

“It’s important to mention given the recent increase in cases at HHS and numbers of close contacts associated with those cases that we continue to remain vigilant, follow safety protocols and look out for one another,” he wrote.
