As of March 24, Hopkinton’s Health Department is reporting 846 total ​confirmed COVID-19 cases; 32 of those cases are active, with 797 recoveries and 17 deaths. You can see historical tracking and updates on ​Hopkinton’s Community Impact Dashboard, which is updated frequently.

Massachusetts Department of Public Health COVID-19 Weekly Public Health Report — NEW UPDATE
The Weekly COVID-19 Public Health Report includes enhanced, more granular information to be updated on a weekly or biweekly basis, including town-by-town case and testing information, cases and deaths in long-term care facilities, updates on nursing facility audit results and more. mass.gov/doc/weekly-covid-19-public-health-report-march-25-2021/download

Massachusetts Department of Public Health Weekly COVID-19 Vaccination Report — NEW UPDATE

2021 Annual Town Meeting and Annual Town Election Dates — NEW UPDATE
On March 23, the Select Board voted pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 39, Section 10, to delay the Annual Town Meeting, currently scheduled to commence on May 3 at 7 p.m., to commence instead on May 8 at 9 a.m. (5-0). After consultation with the town manager and town clerk, the Select Board voted pursuant to Chapter 45 of the Acts of 2020, as amended by Chapter 5 of the Acts of 2021, to postpone the date of the Annual Town Election currently scheduled on May 17 and to reschedule that election to
May 22 (5-0).

Vaccine Information — REMINDER
Partnering with the Google Cloud Team, Massachusetts will launch a pre-registration system for mass vaccination sites only starting March 12. This tool will be available at mass.gov/COVIDvaccine.

Pre-registration will allow eligible residents to book an appointment at one of the state’s seven mass vaccination sites.

On March 17, the Baker-Polito Administration announced the timeline for all remaining residents to be eligible for a vaccine.

Timeline for remaining groups:
● March 22: Residents 60+ and certain workers
● April 5: Residents 55+ and residents with one certain medical condition
● April 19: General public ages 16 years of age and older

K-12 Educators, Child-Care Workers and K-12 School Staff Eligible for Vaccine Appointments Starting March 11
Governor Baker stated on March 10 that there will be specific vaccine dates set aside exclusively for educators and education personnel: March 27, April 3, April 10 and April 11.

To take advantage of these special education personnel vaccine dates, workers in this group must use the preregistration system at mass.gov/COVIDvaccine to request an appointment at one of the seven mass vaccination sites and attest they are a K-12 educator, child care worker or K-12 school staff.

Hopkinton Public Schools
The Hopkinton Public Schools will begin full-time, in-person learning for all K-5 students on Monday, April 5, per a regulatory change made by Massachusetts Commissioner of Education Jeffrey Riley. Full-time, in-person Middle School and High School learning will begin on Monday, April 26, as a result of a vote taken by the Hopkinton School Committee at its meeting on March 11. Remote learning will remain an option for those students currently enrolled in that model.

A full Town Directory can be ​found here​. A box at the front door of Town Hall may be used to drop off correspondence, applications, etc., and they may also be mailed or emailed.
