Jorge Corcuera

Jorge C. Corcuera, 50, passed away following a lengthy illness on Nov. 5 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Born in Lima, Peru, he was the son of Jorge C. Corcuera Villalon and Ines Toscano and moved to the United States in 1987.

He married the love of his life, Rashmi M. Sahukar, in 2011, and settled in Hopkinton in 2016.

Jorge worked for Dell/EMC for over 24 years, working his way up to software quality principal engineer.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Ravi J. Corcuera of Hopkinton, and his sisters, Patricia Corcuera Toscano of Peru, and Jeanette Corcuera Toscano of Rhode Island.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 20 Church Street, Hopkinton. Burial will follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Hopkinton.

Visiting hours at the Callanan Cronin Funeral Home, 34 Church Street, Hopkinton, will be held on Tuesday evening from 5-8 p.m.
