Business Briefs: Every Bodies Massage opens on Main Street

by | Jan 27, 2022 | Business, Featured

Every Bodies Massage is open at its new location at 35 Main Street after relocating from Framingham.

The company was established in 1999 by Jo-Ellen McCarrick, LMT, who is the sole practitioner. She offers relaxation massage as well as therapeutic massage to help clients with ailments such as chronic back pain, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, etc. McCarrick also offers clients some relaxing spa treatments using sugar scrubs, hot stones and mud wraps.

“I’m excited to have my business in Hopkinton,” McCarrick said. “I’m in a beautiful, spacious location. For existing clients, the commute from my prior location is extremely convenient. I’m looking forward to meeting some new people in Hopkinton and expanding my client base.”

A graduate of the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, McCarrick also is a reiki practitioner and is certified in integrated energy therapy. She has additional skills in cupping, Lomi-Lomi massage, myofascial work and prenatal massage.

“There is nothing more rewarding than helping clients improve their well-being,” McCarrick said. “I love to help clients alleviate chronic pain and to help them to heal their injuries. It’s also very rewarding to help clients reduce stress. When I see someone come in the office as a bundle of nerves, it’s nice to see them leave completely relaxed.”

Every Bodies Massage (every-bodies.com) is open by appointment and can be reached at 508-603-9779 or jmccarrick@every-bodies.com.

Resident opens storage facility

Hopkinton’s Ed Kelly and Ashland’s Kevin Price are the new owners of Key Storage (keystorage1.com), a newly expanded self-storage facility located in downtown Uxbridge.

Formerly known as Capron Self Storage, the Depot Street business has undergone a number of improvements to deliver a state-of-the-art facility with more than 300 spaces — including a new temperature-controlled building with 50 units.

The owners plan to add solar panels to all of the building rooftops in the spring, as well as construct a free-standing canopy for RV and boat storage — also with a solar-powered roof.
