HHS Sports Roundup: Golembiewski, Weatherhead head list of TVL All-Stars

The Tri-Valley League recently announced its awards for the winter season, and Hopkinton High School was well-represented.

In boys track and field, Sean Golembiewski was named league MVP, while Colin Davan, Declan Mick and Wyatt Ruff were recognized as All-Stars. Additionally, Mike Donahue was TVL Coach of the Year.

In girls track and field, All-American Kate Powers was an All-Star along with Ellie Driscoll, Steph Johnson, Keira O’Connor and Autumn Tumbleton.

For swimming, Tess Weatherhead was named Diver of the Year, while Eve Weatherhead, Tyler Fallon and Kevin Gu were All-Stars.

In wrestling, Sebastian Losada and state finalist Justin Sokol were named All-Stars, and the team won the TVL Sportsmanship Award.

Nate Kasper and Evan Mirazimi were All-Stars in boys basketball.

In girls basketball, Kiki Fossbender was an All-Star, while Lauren Cho, Brook Dougherty and Lexy Trendel received honorable mention.

Alpine skiing All-Stars in the Central Massachusetts Conference Ski League were Klara Niss, Lila Mato and Libby Herlihy for the girls, and Jake Lacoche for the boys.

In boys hockey, Joey Carraza was an All-Star, and Michael Berman, Jack Lang, Drew Morse, Joseph Scardino and Ryan Teitel received honorable mention.

For girls hockey, Liana Patrick was an All-Star, Sophia Mazzuchelli and Avery Bent received honorable mention, and the team won the TVL Sportsmanship Award.

Emma DiNicola and Lizzie Schneider were named All-Stars for cheerleading.
