Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

Hopkinton and Milford police were engaged in a high-speed pursuit up Route 85 to the Southboro line Saturday morning, chasing a vehicle that reportedly struck a truck in Milford.

Coach Will Abbott of the Hopkinton Youth Lacrosse Grade 5/6 select team reflected upon the team’s undefeated season and state championship victory.

The town on Friday issued an update on the Main Street Corridor project, noting that preparation for brick installation is anticipated to begin after the Labor Day holiday.

The Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project announced that personnel will be in Hopkinton to spray for mosquito control on several dates throughout September.
