Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

Hopkinton had an impressive showing at the local, state and national level in the 2025 Niche Best Schools K-12 rankings.

Baypath Humane Society is one step closer in its mission to provide greater animal care services throughout the MetroWest area as it announces entering a public funding phase for its new facility in Hopkinton.

The latest Schools Notebook features Hopkinton collegians recognized for making the dean’s list, along with resident Manoli Barris being awarded a scholarship by the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority.

The Department of Public Works announced roadwork on East Main Street and Wood Street will begin Monday.

This week’s Baypath Adoptable Animal is 2-year-old Rocky, “a big, affectionate dog” who would thrive in “an environment where he can get plenty of exercise and attention.”

Masjid Al-Ikhlaas, the mosque located at 2 West Elm Street, will open its doors to the public for Open Mosque Day on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
