Girl Scouts’ Edible Book Festival to be held online

by | Mar 28, 2020 | News

The Hopkinton Girl Scouts have moved their Edible Book Festival online. The event normally is held at the Hopkinton Public Library. Participants will make a creation related to a book or reading, take a photo of it, then submit the photo along with an entry form by April 1 to hopgstroop65040@gmail.com.

There are three categories:

1. Children: A single baker who is an eighth-grader or younger

2. Adult: A single baker who is in high school or older

3. Family: Two or more individuals — any group, may include adults and/or children

Voting will take place online after April 1.

The Edible Book Festival was started in 2016 as part of Girl Scout Troop 65040’s Bronze Award project to promote reading and literacy.

For more information, or to view prior years’ entries, visit the Troop 65040 website.
