by | Jun 14, 2025 | News

Work on the Interstate 90 eastbound to Interstate 495 northbound ramp and the I-495 to I-90 westbound ramp in Hopkinton is set to pick up again this week starting Sunday, according to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.

The I-90 eastbound ramp to I-495 north will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. MassDOT anticipates all work to be completed by Friday morning. During the closure, traffic will be detoured down I-495 south from I-90 to West Main Street in Hopkinton (Exit 54A) in order to reverse direction back to I-495 northbound.

Tuesday through Thursday, the I-495 ramp (Exit 58) to I-90 westbound will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be directed to follow detour signs on to I-90 east to use Exit 111 in order to reverse direction.

MassDOT anticipates all work to be completed by Friday morning. All work is weather-permitting.

Appropriate signage and law enforcement details will be in place. Drivers should anticipate delays and exercise caution while traveling through work zones.
