Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Ms. Piggy

Adoptable Animal-Ms. Piggy

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 4-year-old Ms. Piggy.

Here is Baypath’s description of Ms. Piggy:

“Looking for a sweet, loyal and slightly goofy best friend? Ms. Piggy might be the perfect match.

“Piggy is a gentle and affectionate dog who forms deep bonds with her people. She’s looking for a calm, loving home with someone who understands that patience and kindness go a long way — especially when paired with a few tasty treats. Once she feels safe, Piggy will be your favorite walking buddy, your best snuggler and your daily source of laughter.

“Originally from a quiet rural area, Piggy has been adjusting beautifully to life in the suburbs with the help of her dedicated foster family. She quickly settles into a routine, has excellent house manners and enjoys taking in the world around her at her own pace. Her foster describes her as playful, silly and full of heart — she makes them laugh every day with her quirky zoomies, big stretches and love of couch cuddles.

“Here’s what makes Piggy shine:

— She’s house-trained and crate-trained.

— Great in the car.

— Enjoys hikes, yard time and walkies with dog friends.

— Smart and food-motivated — she already knows sit, down, paw and place.

— Cuddly, curious and endlessly loving.

“Piggy is ready to find her forever home — one filled with kindness, structure and lots of love. If you’re looking for a truly devoted companion, Ms. Piggy would love to meet you!”
