ARRESTS

Dec. 24
2:42 a.m. A caller reported a white pickup truck parked on the side of the roadway on East Main Street with music playing loudly. Officer Aline Matos responded along with the Ashland Police Department. Officers Robert Ekross and Eva Cann assisted with field sobriety testing. A 28-year-old from Windsor Drive in Ashland was arrested and charged with OUI liquor. A tow truck removed the vehicle.

Dec. 25
2:12 a.m. A caller reported an erratic operator on Ray Street. Officer Lucille Creedon responded, and the vehicle took off. Sgt. Cody Normandin responded and subsequently detained a 23-year-old resident of Arlington Street in Framingham. The individual was charged with failure to stop for police, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and OUI liquor.

Dec. 28
4:27 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle all over the roadway on Wood Street. Officers Sean McKeon, Nicholas Saletnik and Brian Ziniti responded and performed field sobriety tests on the driver. A 72-year-old woman was arrested and charged with OUI liquor.

Dec. 23
2:50 a.m. Officer Eva Cann made checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
8:48 a.m. A motorist reported an aggressive driver on South Street. The caller got into a verbal dispute with him while on the phone at a set of lights. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded and reported both parties potentially were driving aggressively. They went their separate ways.
10:30 a.m. Officer Justin Cappuccio checked on the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
3:43 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti responded along with the Fire Department to a report of the outside odor of gas on Grove Street.
4:04 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator all over the roadway on West Main Street and headed toward Upton. The Upton Police Department was notified.
4:36 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin assisted a person and dropped off a no trespass order.
6:08 p.m. Officers Justin Cappuccio and Sean McKeon responded to a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street and transported parties, including one juvenile, to the station.
7:11 p.m. A caller reported a road rage incident a few hours earlier with a driver who put on his high beams and blinded the reporting person. She wanted the incident logged.
7:36 p.m. A caller reported a stolen cell phone. Officer Sean McKeon took a larceny report.
9:15 p.m. The DPW requested vehicles parked on Lakeshore Drive to be moved. Officer Brian Ziniti assisted. All but one vehicle was moved.
9:21 p.m. Officers Brenda Stanley and Brian Ziniti responded to a motor vehicle crash on South Street and took a report.
9:39 p.m. Officers Justin Cappuccio, Sean McKeon and Brenda Stanley responded to a motor vehicle crash on Ridge Road and reported property damage. The homeowner was notified. A tow truck removed one vehicle.

Dec. 24
1:01 a.m. Officer Eva Cann made checks of Hoyt Way property.
6:32 a.m. A driver  reported a vehicle swerved into her lane on South Street and hit her. Sgt. Scott van Raalten and Officer Aline Matos responded and took a motor vehicle accident report.
11:15 a.m. Officer Noah Buentello took a motor vehicle crash report on Lumber Street.
11:33 a.m. A caller reported a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street. Officer Noah Buentello spoke with the driver, whose friend was en route to assist.
12:01 p.m. A walk-in reported fraud. Sgt. Arthur Schofield assisted and took a report.
12:54 a.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz made checks of former Center School property on Ash Street.
5:36 p.m. A caller reported a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Lumber Street. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded and took a report. The Milford Police Department was requested to go to the Milford address of one of the involved drivers.
6:19 p.m. Officer Kykle Quinzani made checks of EMC Park.
8:03 p.m. A West Main Street caller reported he believed someone attempted to enter his house about 15 minutes earlier. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded. The caller called back and reported it was his cousin trying to get in the house. All was OK.

Dec. 25
5:32 a.m. A Jamie Lane resident reported an unfamiliar dark SUV pulled into her driveway, turned around and was parked at the end of her driveway. The caller called back and stated the vehicle backed into her neighbor’s driveway. Sgt. Cody Normandin responded and reported the vehicle was for an airport pickup. All was OK.
8:29 a.m. A Mayhew Street resident reported her vehicle was stolen. Officer Noah Buentello responded and reported the vehicle was not stolen, but there was a dispute between the two owners of the vehicle. A report was taken.
8:38 a.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
4:46 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin notified the DPW of a fallen tree on Saddle Hill Road and placed cones around it.

Dec. 26
12:57 a.m. The Milford Police Department requested officers to check on the registered owner of an abandoned vehicle found crashed into a tree in Milford. The male driver was last seen running up Route 85. Sgt. Cody Normandin and Officer Aline Matos went to a Price Street address, but nobody answered the door. The driver subsequently was located at Garrett’s market/gas station on Cedar Street in Milford. A report was taken.
1:58 a.m. Officer Lucille Creedon checked on Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
6:29 a.m. A caller complained of a vehicle idling on Mayhew Court. Sgt. Cody Normandin responded and checked on the livery driver, who was waiting for a customer. All was OK.
10:36 a.m. Officer Eva Cann assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Wood Street.
10:39 a.m. A Lakeshore Drive resident reported a burning smell inside her house. Officer Eva Cann responded along with the Fire Department.
12:42 p.m. A West Main Street caller reported her mailbox was smashed. Officer Eva Cann responded and took a report of vandalism.
1:55 p.m. A Westcott Drive resident reported his mailbox and post were damaged by a vehicle in the past few days. Officer Eva Cann viewed the damage and took a report.
4:19 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti checked on a boarded-up window on an Ash Street property.
4:24 p.m. A caller reported a suspicious white Nissan on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Sean McKeon checked the area with a negative find.
6:02 p.m. Officer Nicholas Walker attempted to speak with a teenager on an e-bike on Emerald Drive, but he took off into the woods. The incident was logged.
8:34 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti made checks of Main Street buildings.
8:39 p.m. Multiple officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Cedar Street. Personal injuries were reported.
10:50 p.m. Officers Nicholas Walker and Lucille Creedon assisted a vehicle stuck in the snow on West Main Street and moved it out of the road.
10:55 p.m. Officer Eva Cann assisted a vehicle stuck in the snow in the middle of the roadway on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Cann requested the DPW to plow the area. One vehicle was towed by AAA.

Dec. 27
12:10 a.m. A caller complained of a vehicle spinning in circles in the parking lot of Carbone’s on Cedar Street and then driving erratically on Cedar Street headed south. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded, and the vehicle was gone upon his arrival.
2:23 a.m. The Upton Police Department reported a vehicle was stuck in the snow on School Street. Officer Lucille Creedon responded, and the vehicle was gone upon her arrival.
3:12 a.m. Officer Eva Cann reported a winter parking ban violation on Hilltop Road. She was unable to locate the owner. A tow truck was requested to remove the vehicle.
3:15 a.m. The DPW requested the removal of three vehicles on Walcott Street for snow removal. Officers Robert Ekross and Alyssa Fleuette responded and requested a tow truck to remove an Acura and a Ford pickup truck.
4:18 a.m. The DPW requested the removal of a grey BMW on Maria Lane for snow removal. Officers Robert Elross and Alyssa Fleuette responded and contacted a tow truck.
5:57 a.m. The DPW requested the removal of a vehicle on Robbern Road for snow removal. Officer Eva Cann was able to make contact with the owners, who moved the vehicle.
7:31 a.m. The DPW requested the removal of a black sedan on Canterbury Lane for snow removal. Officer Lucille Creedon responded and made contact with the owner, who moved the car.
7:34 a.m. A Wood Street caller reported a plow truck knocked over her recycling bin, and everything went into the street. She wanted to know who was plowing. The incident was logged, and she was told she could call the DPW during business hours.
8:31 a.m. A walk-in reported he was being cyber-stalked. He contacted police in Florida, and he was advised to report the incident to Hopkinton Police. Officer Noah Buentello spoke with the caller about the harassment.
8:42 a.m. A Teresa Road resident reported a strong odor of chlorine in the basement. Officer Eva Cann responded along with the Fire Department.
11:50 a.m. A Wood Street caller reported her mother passed away recently, and she wanted to gather her mother’s personal belongings from her room. The caller’s brother stated he would call the police if she attempted to gather the belongings. The incident was logged.
12:13 p.m. A motorist on Hayden Rowe Street requested assistance cleaning off his car so that he could go to CVS to pick up his medicine. Sgt. Cody Normandin responded and assisted.
12:57 p.m. A Valentine Road caller reported a non-licensed driver took his parent’s car and was spinning it in circles in a neighbor’s yard. Officer Noah Buentello responded, spoke to the individual and took a report.
1:08 p.m. A Prestwick Drive walk-in requested to speak with an officer about some concerns in his family. Officer Kyle Quinzani assisted.
2:22 p.m. A caller reported a suspicious male in a red sweatshirt, dark jeans and a black face mask threw something onto the basketball court in front of the middle school on Hayden Rowe Street. Sgt. Cody Normandin and Officers Noah Buentello and Kyle Quinzani responded and checked inside and outside the middle school and high school, but they found nothing.
5:15 p.m. A walk-in reported losing a Samsung Galaxy phone while horseback riding on the trails on Wood Street. The incident was logged.
6:46 p.m. A Woodview Way caller reported threats and harassment. Officer Brian Ziniti assisted and took a report.
9:44 p.m. Sgt. Cody Normandin and Officer Kyle Quinzani responded to a motor vehicle accident on Pond Street where a vehicle went off the roadway and into a tree. No personal injuries were reported. A tow truck removed the vehicle.

Dec. 28
12:10 a.m. Officer Lucille Creedon checked on a motor vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street and moved the occupants along.
1:01 a.m. Officer Robert Ekross issued a warning for a winter parking ban violation on Walcott Street.
10:09 a.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield checked on Pratt Way property.
5:54 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
6:24 p.m. A caller reported suspicious cars on Downey Street. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded, and the vehicles were gone upon his arrival.
8:48 p.m. A Lowell Drive resident reported hearing her basement door possibly closing. While in the basement, the caller heard someone upstairs. Officers Brian Ziniti and Justin Cappuccio responded, did a walk-through of the house and found everything clear.
11:51 p.m. Officer Eva Cann attempted to check on a vehicle parked on Hayden Rowe Street, and the operator drove away.

Dec. 29
1:24 a.m. Officer Aline Matos made checks of Turnbridge Lane property.
2:52 a.m. Officer Eva Cann issued a warning for a winter parking ban violation on Church Street..
12:00 p.m. A motorist reported the traffic lights at South Street and West Main Street as well as School Street and West Main Street were not working. Sgt. Arthur Schofield and Officer Augusto Diaz responded, reported a power outage and notified Eversource. The DPW put out stop signs until power was restored.
1:21 p.m. A caller reported she used to live at a Redwood Path address, and a package was delivered in error for her to her old address. The current resident threw out the package. The caller was advised that it was not a police matter, and the incident was logged.
2:02 p.m. Officer Justin Cappuccio and Sgt. Arthur Schofield completed community policing on Hayden Rowe Street.
6:20 p.m. A caller reported a wire hanging at Pinecrest Village. Officer Brian Ziniti responded and notified Eversource.
6:51 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon notified the DPW of a fallen tree on East Main Street.
11:02 p.m. Officer Eva Cann assisted the Mendon Police Department with contacting a Greenwood Road resident.
