Playing No. 1 singles, Krattenmaker won his first four matches of the season without losing a game. “As a captain, Joe sets the tone by consistently being one of the first players on the courts each day, works continuously in the offseason to hone his skills, and can be heard supporting his teammates with constant shoutouts of support to them during matches and practices,” coach Mike Miller stated. “His love for the sport and competition help him thrive as a great leader for our team.” Krattenmaker also helped start a modified version of unified tennis in town last fall.

Move In Style, sponsored by Custom Home Realty’s Laura Wauters, is a weekly Hopkinton Independent feature. Each week during the school year, we will highlight a different Hopkinton High School athlete, selected after consultation with HHS coaches.
