Letter to the Editor: Krishna for School Committee

by | Apr 21, 2026 | Letter to Editor

I am writing in support of my friend Sravan Krishna for School Committee. As a parent and community member for over 30 years, I believe Sravan has the passion and skills needed to move our schools forward.

I have known Sravan for three years, and I have seen his dedication to our schools and our town. He hopes to create community lead academy pathways to Hopkinton students in AI, medical and business. As a parent whose last child graduated in 2016, I found this very exciting.

Sravan is an instrumental part of Hopkinton, serving on the Board of Friends of SEPAC [Special Education Parent Advisory Council]. He has also served on Hopkinton’s Zoning Advisory Committee, Design Review Board and Economic Development Advisory Board. I favor voting for someone who has put time and effort into the running of our town. Volunteering, as Sravan has, to me, is paramount in folks running for office in Hopkinton.

Sravan has a master’s degree in computer science and 27 years [of experience] as a senior technology executive. He brings to the table his vast knowledge of AI and budgeting experience. Sravan possesses a deep commitment to a quality education for all our students.

I believe Sravan is not only invested in our schools but also our Hopkinton community. For a forward-thinking and inclusive School Committee, I urge you to vote for Sravan.

— Beth Malloy, Hopkinton

Letter to the Editor: Auciello Drive should be public road

I’m writing in support of Article 38 to accept Auciello Drive [as a public road] at this year’s Town Meeting. At its core, this is about people. Families live there. Kids play there. Emergency vehicles depend on access there. These are our neighbors, not an...

I write following up my comments at the March 3 Select Board meeting, which I made with respect to the Select Board’s executive session on Jan. 30, 2018. That session was attended by, I believe, 13 individuals, including Peter Sismanis, his attorney, town counsel,...

There are more dog poop piles than there are nip bottles on the side streets of downtown Hopkinton, and that's saying something! Our sidewalks are littered with poop. It’s nasty for the kids walking to school, who will track the poop on their shoes into the...
