I’m writing in support of Sandra Irwin for School Committee. My three children have gone through every stage of the Hopkinton school system, and I’ve seen firsthand how important the School Committee is in shaping students’ experiences and outcomes. From preschool through graduation — including IEPs, 504s and everything in between — I know how critical it is to have a leader who listens, plans thoughtfully for the future, and implements initiatives responsibly. I am confident that Sandra is the right person for this role and will serve our community with our children’s best interests in mind.
Sandra is diligent, balanced, and deeply committed. She is a thoughtful listener and a levelheaded decision-maker who approaches every situation with care and perspective. As a mother of three and a businesswoman, she brings a well-rounded skill set and a strong sense of accountability. She will put students and the community first, actively listen to diverse perspectives, and communicate openly and transparently.
I’m proud to support Sandra Irwin and hope you will, too. She will be a dedicated and effective member of our School Committee, and I look forward to the impact she will make for our children and our community.
— Samantha Breen, Hopkinton
