Aug. 22
11:41 p.m. Units responded to Pond Street after a caller reported a crash and vehicle rollover with the driver still inside. A 19-year-old male from Hopkinton was placed into custody, and an officer reported property damage in the area. The male party was charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating under the influence of liquor and a marked lanes violation.

Aug. 23
4:02 a.m. After a caller reported a vehicle complaint, officers responded to Downey Street, stopped a driver and conducted field sobriety tests. A 30-year-old Hudson man was taken into custody and transported to the police station. He was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage. Units checked for property damage up to the Upton town line and noted no damage, but there was a tire in the front yard of a West Main Street residence. A call was issued for a possible hit-and-run identification.

Aug. 19
12:39 p.m. Officer Matthew Santoro spoke with a male party wanting to file a citizen complaint in regard to custody issues.
1:44 p.m. Officer Augusto Diaz Jr. responded to an animal call about two skunks staggering around the MetroWest Outdoor YMCA campus on East Street.
2:03 p.m. A tree was observed down and partially in the roadway on South Mill Street. The DPW was advised of the issue.
3:42 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon responded to West Elm Street after a caller reported a possible car crash in the area. It was determined to be a one-car crash into a stone wall, and the vehicle was gone on arrival.
4:14 p.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz conducted a motor vehicle check on Main Street. The driver was aware of their registration status and would not drive the vehicle.
4:40 p.m. A College Street resident reported no water in his residence. On-call staff from the Water-Sewer Department were notified. The resident called back and reported his water service returned after an issue within his residence was resolved.
8:00 p.m. Units assisted with a person check on Constitution Court after a caller reported a female walking around asking kids to go play a game at her apartment. The matter was determined to be a misunderstanding.

Aug. 20
7:00 a.m. Officers responded to an incident on Main Street where a vehicle hit a pedestrian and took off. A female party involved was OK and refused medical treatment.
8:21 a.m. A caller on I-495 northbound reported a vehicle traveling with a phone mounted on the windshield in front of their face. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded, and the vehicle was gone on arrival.
11:02 a.m. Officer Matthew Santoro spoke with a walk-in who wished to discuss a complaint regarding her neighbor.
1:12 p.m. A UPS driver reported there was a large turtle in the back of his truck that he believed to be someone’s pet. Officers responded and checked the scene on Hayden Rowe Street. The driver stated he would take the turtle with him and drop it off at an animal facility on his way home.
1:31 p.m. A caller on Hayden Rowe Street reported a vehicle blocking paving work. Police response was canceled en route after a follow-up report that the vehicle was moved.
4:23 p.m. A caller on West Main Street reported someone hit the back of his vehicle, and there were no known injuries. Officer Sean McKeon and Hopkinton Fire responded. A male party refused treatment for back pain, and both vehicles involved in the crash were on their way. A crash report was to follow.
4:36 p.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz checked a home on Front Street after a resident called to report her dogs were acting strange on her arrival home, and she was hearing noises. Vaz reported the house was cleared and secure.
6:32 p.m. A caller reported a truck was traveling at excessive speeds — upwards of 70 mph — on Downey Street and swerving around kids on bikes and scooters. They reported the incident happened 15-20 minutes prior to the call. Officer Sean McKeon checked the area, and the truck was gone on arrival.

Aug. 21
5:23 a.m. A Cold Spring Brook Road resident called to report suspicious activity at his neighbor’s house, raising concerns that the neighbor’s garage was open and someone was inside. The caller stated it was unlikely for his neighbor to be up so early and requested officers check out the scene. Units responded and spoke to the homeowners, who confirmed they had been in their garage.
8:03 a.m. A Lyford Road resident reported a black SUV was parked in the median. They had spoken to the HOA, which advised it could not have the vehicle towed but the police could. Officer Aline Matos assisted with the complaint.
9:37 a.m. A caller reported a large blue utility van parked in a lot on West Main Street, and the van had ski masks on the headrests. Units responded and spoke with the driver, who was picking up coffee.
12:25 p.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield took an incident report after a Teresa Road resident reported receiving a harassing letter in the mail.
3:10 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour checked on a vehicle on Main Street after a caller reported it was blocking most of the right of way. LaTour determined the car was parked legally.
3:43 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour assisted a walk-in who was lost and confused. A family member was contacted, and arrangements were made to pick up the party. He was reunited with the family member and was to return for his truck.
6:34 p.m. A caller on Winter Street reported loud screaming. Units responded and found the noise was coming from children in a backyard. All checked out OK.
8:49 p.m. A party reported screaming and a possible domestic situation on Teresa Road. Officers checked the area and determined the noise was from a party using a megaphone.
11:29 p.m. Dispatch noticed two people on camera walking in front of the restrooms at Sandy Beach. Units checked the area with a negative find.

Aug. 22
9:24 p.m. Units responded to Pendulum Pass following a report of a party with over 100 people. On arrival, officers reported a large number of cars and people running from the residence. They spoke with the homeowner, who reported more people showed up than were expected. A male party was clearing out guests. All juveniles were picked up and cleared out.
9:39 p.m. Sgt. Cody Normandin checked South Mill Street after a caller reported cars parked on both sides of the street and a vehicle parked the wrong way, making the road impassable.
10:44 p.m. Sgt. Cody Normandin checked on three juveniles out on Chestnut Street. They were to be on their way.

Aug. 23
1:30 a.m. A Huckleberry Road caller reported a vehicle in the area that they felt was suspicious. Units checked on a female sleeping in the car and were to check the area for more parties that went off with unknown males. Officers were out on Huckleberry Road for a follow-up and stood by for the operator’s parents to pick them up. All parties were en route to their residences, and the vehicle was to remain on the side of the road until morning.
4:53 p.m. A caller complained that a boat was operating too close to the swimming area at Sandy Beach. Officer Sean McKeon responded and spoke with the party.
6:18 p.m. Units assisted a party who reported a stolen e-scooter and bag. The items had been relocated and not stolen.
6:46 p.m. Dispatch spoke with a Linden Street caller who reported a sick rabbit and advised them to call the wildlife clinic at Tufts.

Aug. 24
1:42 a.m. Units assisted Massachusetts State Police with a vehicle on School Street. Officers reported a passenger was passed out and no driver was in the vehicle. Drug paraphernalia was found in the car. The passenger was conscious but not responding verbally, and Hopkinton Fire responded to assist. Officers escorted fire crews to Milford Regional Medical Center.
10:50 a.m. Water-Sewer Manager Jed Fenneuff reported a construction crew struck a Verizon line on Fruit Street. Verizon was called and advised to send a crew.
12:27 p.m. Officer Augusto Diaz Jr. responded to West Main Street for a call reporting a hit and run that occurred in a parking lot. A report was to follow.
12:51 p.m. Officer Augusto Diaz Jr. took a report of illegal dumping on Constitution Court.
1:46 p.m. A caller reported a crash with no injuries on Hayden Rowe Street. Another party on a moped took off from the scene. Officer Benjamin Vaz took a crash report, and Milford Police were advised of the moped driver.
5:40 p.m. A walk-in reported a vehicle hit him from behind and took off. Officer Benjamin Vaz assisted and took an incident report.
6:07 p.m. Units responded to Mayhew Street after a caller reported loud music in the area. Officers checked the area with a negative find.
8:06 p.m. Sgt. Cody Normandin checked on a vehicle on West Main Street and spoke with the driver, who reported the car’s transmission blew. A tow truck was on the way.
9:53 p.m. A caller on Birkdale Lane reported a male party wearing a black mask was knocking on doors in the neighborhood. Units checked the area with a negative find.

Aug. 25
2:56 a.m. Officer Brian Ziniti assisted Hopkinton Fire with an 82-year-old male on West Main Street who fell and needed assistance getting up.
3:16 a.m. Officer Brian Ziniti checked a vehicle on Pratt Way and found it unoccupied.
9:16 a.m. A caller reported no clear traffic pattern on Fruit Street and frustration from the detail officer. Sgt. Arthur Schofield responded and found traffic was running fine.
7:03 p.m. A walk-in from Chamberlain Street reported continued harassment. Officer Benjamin Vaz assisted the party, and a report was to follow.
10:08 p.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz responded to I-495 northbound to assist Massachusetts State Police with a crash into the median.
